Vegetables

A lot of people tell me they don’t like vegetables. I can’t imagine it! There are so many vegetables and so many different ways to cook them that even the fussiest of eaters should find something that takes their fancy.

If you are bored with your current veggie roster, then try cooking them differently, or don’t cook them at all.

Especially when your diet is more restricted, try to think of your meals based around vegetables. It will allow you much more flexibility than just thinking chicken and …

Organic vegetables will obviously contain less chemicals and possibly have more nutrients, but we can’t all afford them. A good rule of thumb is to try to buy leafy vegetables organically as these tend to be the ones hardest hit with nasty chemical sprays. Then, if you can afford it, other ‘above ground’ vegetables, followed by ‘below ground’ vegetables.
